Welcome to Start It Up. It's ya boy Stubbs, aka T Daht, aka T Dizzle. First off, I'd like to thank you for checking out our blog and podcast. I'm a country boy from North Carolina with a lot of bright ideas. This show was birthed from one of those ideas. I've always wanted to get on air and share my thoughts with people, generate conversation and things of that nature. My boy Super Trav was the only person that came to mind when thinking of this show and I knew he would be the perfect person to collab with. Since then it's been history.
Now that you know a little about the creation of the show, here's a little about me. I recently graduated college with a degree in Business Administration and am working to my Masters in Business Administration as well. Being smart is cool. The streets raised me but the books made me. Now I'm out here pushing knowledge to these young cats and I'm only 23. Keep posting and commenting on the show. We love feedback, both positive and negative. It adds fuel to the fire. Preciate the love.
This is Trav, better known as travsowavy. As Hov says, "one life to live, I can't let a day go, bye without being fly or fresh to death, head to toe til the day I rest." When my man Stubbs hit me up and pitched the idea of doing a show together I was skeptical. But I've learned to never doubt Stubbs. I am a brash personality. I usually speak without thinking, which for this show at least, won't get me in trouble. I too am educated. Like 50 Tyson, "I'm a ball player, always been a ball player." Basically, I'm just trying to add that distinct flavor that only I can bring to this show. Between Stubbs and myself there will be plenty of comments and opinions thrown around to debate about for weeks. We're just tryna bring our unique style to the people and present art at it's finest. As our motto states this is "Good Music. Good Conversation." Let's... Start it up. Vroom. Vroom.
